Like a hitch pin and clip, a hitch lock is designed to insert into the fastener hole in the side of a receiver tube in order to hold a ball mount or hitch-mounted accessory in place. While a CURT hitch pin does offer sufficient strength for keeping your ball mount firmly attached, a CURT hitch lock goes one step further.

CURT hitch locks allow you to lock your ball mount into your trailer hitch, deterring theft and preventing anyone from detaching your trailer at the ball mount and towing away your property without your permission. The CURT hitch lock in this combo pack features a right-angle design for easy access to the key hole, and it comes with a 5/8″ diameter pin to fit a 2″ receiver tube. Likewise, CURT coupler locks are designed to add security to your trailer and towing equipment. Instead of merely retaining the coupler latch mechanism, they lock it into place and act as a theft deterrent for your trailer while it is coupled to your vehicle. CURT coupler locks are key-operated and come in several different styles. This coupler lock features a right-angle design and features an adjustable pin, fitting any coupler latch span between 1″ and 3″. It also comes with a durable chrome finish is keyed alike with the hitch lock for added convenience.
